Trama
Michael O'Hara, marinaio irlandese, salva Mrs. Elsa Bannister da un'aggressione in Central Park a New York e viene ingaggiato dal suo zoppo marito, avvocato di gran nome, perché li porti - lui, la moglie e il suo socio in affari - su uno yacht a San Francisco con tappa ad Acapulco. Il buon O'Hara si accorge presto di essere capitato in un nido di vipere e di squali, il peggiore dei quali è proprio lei, l'angelo biondo dal cuore nerissimo.
