Trama
La giovane e graziosa sposa dell'ambasciatore inglese a Napoli, Lord Hamilton, conosce il capitano di marina Orazio Nelson, di passaggio in Italia. Quando questi viene nominato ammiraglio, i due diventano amanti e fuggono insieme, dello scandalo. Ma alla fine Nelson non si sottrarrà al richiamo della sua patria e morirà affrontando la flotta napoleonica; mentre il futuro della bella Lady Hamilton, ripudiata dal marito in seguito al suo tradimento, sarà misero.
