Trama
Brillante avvocato, Daniel Hackett rimane coinvolto in un incidente d'auto. Decide allora di fingere che a guidare fosse la fidanzata Jenny. Quando si risveglia in ospedale, Jenny apprende che il conducente dell'altro veicolo, il signor Langford, è morto. Di conseguenza, è accusata di omicidio colposo e sarà costretta a far di tutto per dimostrare la sua innocenza.
