Trama
Il texano Charles Farmer ha lasciato l'aeronautica da giovane per salvare il ranch di famiglia alla morte del padre. Come la maggior parte degli allevatori americani, è in debito con la sua banca. A differenza di altri, è un astrofisico con un razzo nel fienile, che ha costruito e vuole portare nello spazio. È il suo sogno. L'FBI lo mette sotto sorveglianza quando cerca di comprare il carburante per il razzo e la FAA lo blocca quando presenta un piano di volo, ma Charles non si lascia scoraggiare.
