Trama
1975: in un negozio della cittadina texana di McCarthy, si tiene la riunione di un fan club devoto alla memoria di James Dean. Fra le componenti dell'eterogeneo gruppo c'è Mona, mentalmente disturbata, che dopo una comparsata sul set de _Il gigante_ ebbe (a suo dire) un figlio dal divo; c'è la sardonica cameriera Sissy e c'è Joanne, che rivelerà un lacerante segreto tenuto nascosto per anni...
