Plot
Anigham, from the fusion of two words: ani and agham, explores the farming community of Dolores, which integrates the synergy of agriculture and science. The film takes the perspective and growing realizations of the filmmakers themselves as the journey progresses from real-hand experiences of the locals to the scientific explanations of experts. It tells a story of the gradual success in the industry of coffee and salabat, as well as the environmental, economic, and social impact that these local businesses have in terms of sustainability. Furthermore, the documentary exhibits the actions and the lives of the people behind the growing popularity of the said industry. This comes with the hope of serving the concept of sustainnovation with a whole new angle and aims to communicate that an unconventional and intangible concept is worthy of the three categories, “innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.”
