Plot

Vintage 1939 MLB Film reel from Lew Fonseca and presented by the Kellogg Company, Narrated by John Harrington, popular KWK announcer and sports commentator. 1939 Baseball centennial and the opening of the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown which includes speeches from Ty Cobb, Connie Mack and Babe Ruth. An Instructional film with fielding and batting tips from MLB Stars of the late 30s Frank Crosetti and Joe Gordon, Red Rolfe, Charlie Gehringer Pitchers Johnny Rigney, Bobby Doerr. First Night Game in Cleveland's Municipal; Stadium and a look at all the MLB Ballparks. Film ends with Highlights of the 1939 World Series.
