Plot
One of the few films from Geneva that deserves a more elaborate technique. (Usually the opposite is the case.) For seven minutes, Michel Dufourd animates the objects of a toilet table as a microcosm in which love stories, flirtatious love stories in keeping with the “milieu”, take place. Mr. Dentifrice and Miss Creme play their game before the master/lady of the house enters the bathroom. At the last moment, they retire to their tube or pot until the next morning, when they will dance and woo each other again. The real animation (with plasticine) is perfect and funny - the result of a lot of hard work, which the 16mm technique and the rather rudimentary lighting only approximate. Nevertheless, Good Morning Love is one of the few short films that is not too long, the realization of an economical storyboard.
