Illustrated with fairy-tale-like sand paintings, the film delves into Veronika's hidden world. As a child, she was diagnosed with an IQ of zero. She is autistic and has multiple physical disabilities. No one could have imagined that Veronika had such a sharp mind. Now, as an adult, she has learned to communicate using a sophisticated sign language system.
