Throughout history, humans have often tried to emulate birds when designing aircraft. Recently, however, they have turned their attention to insects, attempting to incorporate the structural features of their wings into their designs. The film chronicles the research being conducted at the Institute of Evolutionary Morphology and Ecology and Leningrad University.
