Plot

In February 2021, the Perseverance rover landed on Mars without incident. However, the mission's success was far from guaranteed. This report shows the difficult development process of the rover leading up to its successful landing. The new rover, which NASA sent to Mars, is called Perseverance. Its mission is to search for traces of ancient life on the Red Planet, an important and ambitious mission. The design and construction of the space probe and its mini-helicopter, Ingenuity, took years. The documentary follows the rover's development until its landing in Jezero Crater on February 18, 2021. The mission was a complete success: the rover landed, and all the onboard instruments functioned flawlessly. Perseverance provided high-resolution images of Mars. But the road to get there was arduous for its creators.
