Joyful Partaking (2001)

This touchingly surreal award-winning film by William Moreing stars John Procaccino as television weather reporter Walter Majeski, who loses his son in a freak accident caused by, ironically enough, a storm Walter was unable to accurately predict. But on the day he decides to kill himself, circumstances conspire to pull him out of his funk and he's not the only one to encounter the beautiful randomness of life as he struggles with his demons.
