Sıtkı Bey asks Rauf Bey, a member of the bank's board, for help in obtaining a loan from the bank. Rauf Bey hopes to marry Sıtkı Bey's daughter in return for his help. Sıtkı Bey, who wants to make a big investment, tries to force Handan to marry Rauf.
