Plot
Double Me is a film about the tragic misunderstandings between the Spanish colonizers and the indigenous peoples of Colombia, and the ramifications of those traumatic experiences. Based on manuscripts, photographs and films belonging to the Colombian ethnographer Gregorio Hernández de Alba, Rugeles pieces together existing and new footage in this documentary punctuated with fiction and stories.
