A woman makes a decision to rid herself of her shadow. She needs a ritual, a rite that will open up the brief window between life and death. She can speak into it and have her wish granted. Her shadow departs and she undergoes a transformation. At first it is unclear what she has become as without her shadow she believes she is free. But what it leaves behind is a gap in her psyche and she is incomplete. Her initial contentment is eliminated when 'Nothing' appears.
