Plot

A musical melodrama and semi‐biographical portrait of Alla Pugacheva, here named Anna Streltsova, who repeatedly contemplates leaving the stage until she discovers her true style and songs. Along the way she endures a difficult marriage and divorce, embraces motherhood, and ultimately experiences a profound, life-changing love.
