Écharpe Noir (2018)

Martha, a young peripheral law student, and Thiago find each other support to face what it is like to be a young black man and live in a city like Rio de Janeiro. Together, they find support, companionship and love, with all the strength and intensity of an Afrocentric relationship. However, Thiago, gets an exchange scholarship at Sorbonne to deepen his research on decolonization processes in Francophone Africa and stays a year away from Martha. Would this love be able to resist the distance? Is it possible to maintain this companionship even without maintaining contact?
