Plot
The "Diretas Já" movement marks the end of the dictatorship. Between 1983 and 1984, gigantic demonstrations demanded presidential elections by direct vote. The dream ended in April 1984, when the Chamber rejected the Dante de Oliveira Amendment, proposed by a young deputy of the same name. BetaCine filmmaker Rodrigo Piovezan produced a documentary to commemorate the movement's 30th anniversary. Using images from archives and interviews of those who participated in the movement's cast.
