Synopsis
Johnnie Aysgarth est un joueur séduisant, masquant son oisiveté par son charme. Il rencontre la douce et riche Lina MacKinlaw dans un train, essayant de voyager en première classe avec un billet de troisième. Il lui fait la cour et l'épouse rapidement. Lina ne découvre la vraie personnalité de son mari qu'au retour de la lune de miel et devient suspicieuse au moment où l'ami et associé de Johnnie est tué mystérieusement...
