Synopsis
Il s'agit de la suite du film, Le brave soldat Chvéik de 1956. Les deux films ont été tournés d'après le roman Les Aventures du brave soldat Chvéik de l'écrivain Jaroslav Hasek. Le film se termine sans dénouement au milieu des troubles de la guerre, tout comme le roman inachevé de Hasek.
