Synopsis
A Broadway, une vendeuse ambulante de pommes fait croire depuis des années à sa fille résidant en Espagne qu'elle mène la grande-vie. Quand sa fille lui apprend qu'elle s'apprête à lui rendre visite, la semi-clocharde -aidée par des mafieux généreux- élabore un plan pour paraître riche et influente ...juste la durée du séjour de la fille.
