Synopsis
Comment Stewart McBain, entrepreneur en démolition, père de famille autoritaire et riche, expulse sa progéniture qui se la coule douce dans sa maison pour qu'elle se coltine un peu a la vie. Daphné, Chloé et Jimmy se réfugient dans une maison décrépite de Brooklyn promise a la destruction et sont vite rejoints par un groupe d'excentriques sympathiques. Pendant ce temps McBain essuie une série de revers et se voit accule a la ruine. Mais ses enfants veillent et vont lui démontrer que eux aussi savent vivre...
