Trama
Il detective Mark Dixon viene degradato a causa del suo comportamento troppo brutale. Date queste premesse, nel momento in cui uccide involontariamente, in una colluttazione, un sospetto è perciò spinto a nascondere il cadavere e a tentare di attribuire ad altri la responsabilità dell'omicidio. In particolare, cerca di incastrare il gangster Scalise, ingaggiando con lui una vera e propria lotta personale.
